IFSSCREENPLAYCONTEST SUBMISSIONGUIDELINES

 

 

  1. If entering your script electronically, you must submit in one of the following formats: Final Draft, Microsoft Word or PDF (preferred).
  2. Cover pages should include only the following:
    1. Title
    2. Author Name
    3. Copyright Information (if applicable)
    4. IFS issued tracking number.
  3. All scripts must be submitted in English.
  4. Text for the entire screenplay must be formatted in 12 Point Font using Arial, Courier, or American Typewriter font.
  5. General margin rule, 1.5" left, 1" right and 1" top and bottom.
  6. Entry fees must be paid in U.S. dollars before scripts will be read.
  7. Entries must be mailed and postmarked by the applicable Entry Deadline.
  8. Screenplays submitted by mail should be clearly marked with the Submission Tracking Number.
  9. Screenplays & Teleplays submitted must not have been previously optioned, purchased or produced to be eligible for our contest.
  10. Independent Filmmakers Showcase is not responsible for screenplays or coverage stolen or lost in transit.
  11. Screenplays & Teleplays submitted after the LATE deadline are ineligible for our screenplay coverage / analysis option.
  12. Entries will not be returned.

 

SUBMIT YOUR SCREENPLAY

  1. Please read the guidelines and contest rules and regulations as well as the IFS Terms, Conditions, Rules & Regulations 
  2. Choose your category of submission.
  3. It is recommended that before submitting any written work to an outside source that you first register it with the US Copyright Office
