What would you do if you found weed in your 10-year-old’s belongings?
That’s what eleven parents, a 4th-grade teacher, and a school principal need to figure out in Marcelo Galvão’s new feature film “Fourth Grade B”.
Featuring a remarkable ensemble cast featuring Teri Polo, Mena Suvari, William Baldwin, Robert Pine, Roland Kickinger, amongst others, the film is a satirical portrayal of a private school’s emergency meeting filled with accusations and intrigue, as each parent tries to protect their own child, and the uproarious chaos that follows the decision to light up a joint.
"Fourth Grade B" is the American remake of the award-winning Brazilian feature film “Quarta B”, also written and directed by Marcelo Galvão. This will be Galvão's first American production, following a very successful career in his home country Brazil, where he wrote and directed several features, including the multiple award-winning film “Buddies”, about three Down syndrome youngsters who flee the institute they live at in search of new adventures, and the 2017 Netflix western "The Killer".
This film is a Wolf in a Pack production, produced by Gabriela Kulaif and Marcelo Galvão, Executive Produced by Giordano Biagi and Caio Vecchio, and featuring a mixed crew of Brazilians and Americans.
